Bio

After growing up in New Mexico, Dr. Claman moved to Vancouver, Canada to pursue his passions for mechanical engineering and physics at the University of British Columbia's prestigious Engineering Physics program. The son and grandson of physicians, he was unable to escape a hereditary draw to the healing arts and decided to go to medical school. While studying medicine, he was inspired by his cousins, two of Southern California's premiere cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons. This mentorship led Dr. Claman to pursue residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, in which he is currently engaged at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.

Dr. Claman continues to embrace the engineering spirit with which he began his academic career. He is actively engaged in numerous biomedical product development projects in addition to his clinical research.
